Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University offering Drone degree

February 11, 2015

If you find yourself flying your drone for fun and you keep thinking, I wish I could do this professionally, well now you can! The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, is now offering a course track and degree in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).

The need for commercial drones is growing amongst many different industries; they are not just for military use. With the FAA, slowly but surely granting commercial use permission, many businesses are growing in their UAS department. The demand for designers, pilots, and operators are increasing, opening the door to many jobs.

By going to school now for Unmanned Aircraft Systems, it will definitely put you ahead of the rest once the FAA relaxes the usage on drones.
