Much Anticipated Zero Zero Robotics’ V-Coptr Falcon to Finally Launch

Zero Zero Robotics was founded in 2014 and is run by some of the sharpest minds in the UAV and AI business. Their latest release, the V-Coptr Falcon is already causing a lot of excitement in the industry. It is due to launch in China on September 9. Apart from the unusual yet highly effective V-shaped design, it has some impressive features and specs.
The launch has been highly anticipated for some time now and the market is eagerly awaiting this revolutionary new drone. The price is still to be announced but the expectation is that it will be a bit more than the original price Zero Zero promised which was $999. This is largely due to chip price increases caused by a global shortage. Even at a slightly higher price, it is a quality product that will give you a lot of bang for your buck.
The unusual V-shape offers many advantages. The dual rotors have been designed to tilt, a technology that Zero Zero innovated. This design, combined with control algorithms and nonlinear dynamic modeling offers many advantages. One of the most exciting results is an extremely impressive flight time of 50 minutes.
The design is more efficient which is what allows for the excellent flight time. The propellers have a slower rotation and operate efficiently and with less noise. Zero Zero has patented its unique propeller design. The tilting rotor system also allows for agile movement and greater stability.
This works well with the 3-axis mechanical gimbal. It has a yaw control range of roughly 80 degrees. This means crisp and steady video footage. It has a 1/2.3 inch 12 MP CMOS sensor for clear 4K video.
It records 4K UHD at 30 frames per second while HD will give you as much as 60 fps.
It has internal storage of 8GB as well as an option for a microSD up to 256GB. Stills can be taken in JPEG/RAW (DNG) with a resolution of 12MP.
Other features include autofollow and trackshots. The advanced Visual Inertial Odometry (VIO) and dual front facing cameras allow the V-Coptr to have outstanding real-time situational awareness allowing the craft to detect and avoid obstacles remarkably well.
The V-Coptr is relatively light and compact measuring 22 x 14,8 x 7,24 cm and weighing in at 1.6lbs/730g.
Another factor that is highly impressive is the phenomenal transmission distance of 7 kilometers.
This is an exciting innovation from a leading team that is likely to become extremely popular. We look forward to seeing it available in the US very soon.
